Meet the Team
Amy N.
Office Manager
“My favorite part of South Hill Pediatric Dentistry is seeing the smiling and excited patients coming through the door and hearing that they love it here and they’re excited to come back!”
You may remember Amy as she used to greet all our patients as they arrived! Now she is spending time helping manage our practice. Prior to coming to South Hill Pediatric Dentistry, Amy had two years of experience working as a receptionist in the dental field.
Amy has a small family, just Kory, Nora, and herself, but they love being outside, gardening, hiking, swimming, and going out on their boat most summer weekends. In the fall and winter, they cheer on the Seahawks and do arts and crafts.
Amy L.
Scheduling Coordinator
“I love seeing all the little kids come in and be excited to see the dentist and watching them grow up.”
Since joining our team, Amy has helped streamline our front office and has helped us to navigate the complex and changing world of dental insurance. She also schedules our general anesthesia cases at Sacred Heart and works hard to make patients feel happy and at home.
Amy is originally from the Pacific Northwest and spent 13 years in San Diego and three years in Okinawa Japan before moving to Spokane. She is a mom of two grown boys, one of whom is a United States Marine. She also has two dogs named Winston and Louie. Amy enjoys all things outdoors, reading, travel, and concerts.
Shealyn
Scheduling Coordinator
“My favorite part of my job is greeting all the cute little faces that walk in the office and hearing all the funny things they have to say.”
Shealyn entered the dental field in April of 2019 in Puyallup, working for Madsen Dentistry as a scheduling coordinator. She joined our team with full confidence in the skills of our doctors and staff—she brings her own kids here, too!
Shealyn grew up in Ephrata and began firefighting in Moses Lake during college. There, she met her husband Jake. They have two cute and funny little boys named Parker and Max. When she is not at work, she is either enjoying time with her boys, traveling, or being a photographer!
Topher
Patient Care Coordinator
“I love interacting with all the kiddos, meeting new people, and being a part of making a difference in the community.”
Christopher (aka Topher) was born and raised in Tacoma and moved to Spokane in 2004. He has been in the dental industry since 2011 and joined the South Hill Pediatric Dentistry family in 2018.
In his spare time, Topher enjoys spending time with his wife and six children, long-distance cycling, watching the Seahawks and Mariners, and coaching his kids’ baseball/softball team.
Deborah
Insurance Coordinator/Consultant
“I am privileged to work with the most energetic and dedicated team I've ever met. Dr. Becky and Dr. Erin are committed to forging nurturing relationships with the families we serve, and our office truly reflects that.”
Deborah was our office manager, and has been with South Hill Pediatric Dentistry since we opened our doors. She now helps coordinate patient insurance from her home in Coeur d' Alene.
She and her husband have three adult children and enjoy being outdoors, caring for their garden, and cheering for the Zags!
Michael
CRNA
Michael is our Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). He has been in practice since 1986, and has been treating children exclusively for much of that time. He received his Master’s degree in Anesthesiology from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. He has done all types of anesthesia, but most enjoys working with pediatric patients in a private office setting.
Michael and his wife have three sons with whom they love spending their time.
Jaelyn
Dental Hygienist
Jaelyn worked as a dental assistant for five years before graduating from EWU as a dental hygienist. She started her career in general dentistry before joining our team in 2019.
Jaelyn was born and raised in Kennewick, but now lives in Airway Heights with her husband and two kids, Bo and Wren. During the summer, she enjoys gardening and doing other outdoor activities with her family.
Kym
Restorative Hygienist
“I love finding out what interests each child, their hobbies, things they enjoy, and laughing with them.”
Kym fell in love with Spokane after moving here to attend Eastern Washington University. She has specialized in treating children since 2006, and has been part of the South Hill Pediatric dental team since we opened our doors in 2011.
Kym has a wonderful husband of 16 years and two fantastic boys, Wyatt and Camden. She enjoys physical fitness, spending time on the family property near Lake Roosevelt, snuggling her fur babies, and everything Disney/Marvel/Star Wars!
Amber
Dental Assistant
“My goal is to help nervous kids learn to love the dentist and make it a less scary experience.”
Amber has been an assistant since 2011 and with our team since January 2012. She enjoys working with children and creating a positive experience at the dentist for them.
Amber has two amazing wild and loving little boys and two cats who keep her busy in her spare time. They love all things Disney! In her spare time, you can usually catch Amber and her kids at a park or creating some kind of project, whether it’s tie dying or opening geodes. When she’s not out and about, Amber likes spending quiet time with a coffee and a book and soaking up some sunshine.
Adrienne
Dental Assistant
“I enjoy being a part of creating positive experiences for my patients. I love the silly things they say!”
Adrienne taught pre-school for ten years, then entered the dental field and has been working in pediatrics since 2013. She brings laughter and fun every day to our workplace and always makes sure your children experience the same fun environment that we do.
She is a mom to three wonderful kids and a dog, and her epic adventures include white water rafting in Banff.
Amber H.
Dental Assistant

Amber has been working with kids since 2002 after earning her Bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She taught for seven years before shifting her focus to dentistry in 2012. In 2020, she became a part of South Hill Pediatric Dentistry!
Amber grew up in Mossyrock and moved to Spokane in 2020 where she absolutely loves it! Her hobbies include hiking, fishing, hunting, attending concerts, spending time with friends, and watching sports, specifically the Seattle Seahawks and hockey!
Ashley
Dental Assistant
“I love working with a patient that has been fearful the last few visits, turning a corner and making great strides! It brings me great joy knowing I can help.”
Ashley graduated from high school in 2016 and went straight to dental assisting school, finishing in 2017. She’s been a dental assistant at South Hill Pediatric Dentistry for five years!
Ashley and her significant other have a crazy chocolate lab named Buck. She enjoys time outside hiking, walking, swimming, and snowboarding, as well as traveling. She also loves spoiling her nieces and nephews!
Denise
Dental Assistant
"It is my passion to be able to work with children, and ensure that they have positive and fun visits." Denise is originally from the Tri-Cities and moved to Spokane in 1999 to attend college. She has over 18 years of involvement working with children, including those with special needs, and has been a part of our team since January of 2012.
She excels at going the extra mile to make sure her patients have a great experience and are comfortable throughout their appointment. She loves to spend time creating fun activities for her 3 children; Renn, Lennon, and Elsie.
Heidi
Dental Assistant

Heidi joined our dental team in May 2014 and has been working with children as a dental assistant since 2009. She finds great joy in creating a comfortable and positive experience for children at the dentist.
Heidi is from Spokane and loves to be outdoors. She and her husband have two children, Lincoln and Emma, and labs named Kinley and Remi. Heidi enjoys gardening, cross-stitching, and spending time with her family.

When Sarah decided to join the dental field, she knew immediately that she wanted to work in pediatrics because of her love for kids. Since Sarah joined our team, her sense of humor and welcoming smile have become some of the things we love most about her.
Sarah has lived in Spokane her whole life and is happily married with three children, Kailey, Casper, and Ryver. Sarah enjoys spending summer months at the lake and watching her kids’ seasonal sports.
Stefani
Dental Assistant
“My favorite part about my new job is interacting with all the little ones. I am excited to learn new procedures in the dental office and get to interact with many patients and make new relationships.”
Stefani completed her CDA certifications in 2019 and recently joined our team. She is happy to be a part of this team and hopes to bring something new and exciting to the mix!
Stefani spends most of her free time exploring her new home—Spokane. She currently has one furry friend named Mochi, a baby kitty that has an insane amount of energy but gives the best morning cuddles!
Tara
Dental Assistant
"I love seeing our patients smile at the end of their appointment and wanting to come back."
Tara joined our team in February 2013, but has been working with children in the dental field since 2008.
She and her husband have two daughters with whom they spend as much time as possible. Tara taught both of her daughters how to ski, and her hobbies include skiing, running, riding ATVs, and spending time at the lake with family.
