Oral Cut/Tissue Trauma

• If your child has an intra-oral or extra-oral laceration that occurs we recommend pressure to cease/ease bleeding.
• If you suspect or question if stitches are necessary please go to the nearest pediatric emergency room.
• If the lesion is small or superficial we advise to monitor and avoid citrusy, acidic foods as they can cause discomfort as the area heals.
